As newly appointed ambassadors, Linda Laderman (Linda Laderman PR), Brendan Dorrian (Fawaz Alhokair Fashion) and Lucy Harris (Heidrick & Struggles) will assist the expansion of the Fashion & Textile Children’s Trust (FTCT), a charity which provides grants to disadvantaged children whose parents or carers work within the fashion and textile sector.Through its grants programme, FTCT provides support for all aspects of a child’s well-being, including sickness, disability, bereavement and issues arising from financial hardship.
Working alongside the charity's board of trustees, the ambassadors will inspire and influence others about FTCT, bringing skills, expertise and contacts to the role.
“This new role is a perfect way to harness the energy and expertise of those in the industry who are keen to get involved with the charity, while growing a band of loyal supporters who can continue to help FTCT grow,” says Anna Pangbourne, FTCT director. “Our first ambassadors will be sharing their skills in PR and business development, while introducing FTCT to new executive contacts.”
