Havaianas appoints new EMEA president
Flip flop brand recruits Guillaume Prou for the role.

Alpargatas – the company that created Havaianas in 1962 – has appointed Guillaume Prou as president for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.
Prou joined Alpargatas 5 years ago in the role of CFO EMEA. He previously worked for 15 years at L'Oreal in various positions in Thailand, France, Brazil and Portugal.
The new role will see Prou continue to grow the Havaianas brand in EMEA, which includes product extensions, growth of the brand’s retail presence and the development of wholesale business in the region.
Today the London retailer launched beauty and kidswear categories online and in-store.
