US brand J Crew has announced its first store outside of America on London’s Regent Street.
The 17,000 sq ft retail space will open its doors in late 2013 and is part of the retailer’s international expansion plan.
The shop will house separate women’s and men’s stores, each with an individual entrance along with crew cuts, J Crews childrenswear destination.
The womenswear offering will feature a carefully edited selection, including J Crew Collection and a dedicated shoe and handbag salon.
The men’s shop, meanwhile, will offer the full range of Ludlow suits, shirting and shoes, alongside items from J Crew’s In Good Company range.
“London was an easy decision – it’s a place where people understand and respect the integrity of great style and great design," says Millard Drexler, chairman and chief executive at J Crew Group Inc.
"We share this appreciation and are excited to introduce J Crew to more customers throughout the UK.”
