Nottingham school uniform and sportswear supplier Price & Buckland is working in partnership with SPC Printers to kit out the GB Freestyle Kayak Team in its latest range, PB Sport.
The GB Kayak Team recently tried out the Price & Buckland supplied kit for the first time at the ICF Canoe Freestyle World Championships held in Bryson City, North Carolina.
Initially looking for knitwear for a local school, Kevin Parsons, director of SPC Printers, was so impressed with the samples from Price & Buckland, which included its new sportswear PB Sport, that he subsequently presented them to the GB Freestyle Kayak Team.
“The GB Team had specific requirements for their teamwear, which meant a bespoke kit was required,” says SPC Printers’ director, Kevin Parsons. “The flexibility and ability to produce a quality garment in a tight time frame helped to secure this prestigious contract.”
“We were thrilled that our products have been used by a national team and had every confidence that our products lived up to the high standard that is expected,” adds John Adams, sales manager at Price & Buckland.
Price & Buckland has provided 24 kits to the GB Freestyle Kayak Team, consisting of a new sport tracksuit top and bottoms in navy blue with red panels and white piping, as well as matching navy polo shirts, all decorated with the Team GB logo. Also provided were hoodies and polo shirts for the travelling supporters.
