Award-winning childrenswear designer Rachel Riley
and Textrade International
, one of India’s leading home textile manufacturers and international distributors, have signed a licensing agreement for the Rachel Riley Home Collection.
Designed by Rachel, the collection will be showcased at the s/s 18 edition of Bubble London
on 16-17 July and will be available to buy from retail in January 2018.
The initial launch will feature a range of products, including bedding for all ages, produced in Textrade’s state-of-the-art facility, which already manufactures a comprehensive offering spanning bedding through to homewares.
Textrade has a strong sales and marketing team spanning Europe, South East Asia and all other relevant global markets. In the USA, it has a wholly owned subsidiary, Textrade Inc, with a showroom in New York. Its client list meanwhile, includes household names such as Bed, Bath & Beyond, Simply Vera Wang, Kohls, Anthropologie and IKEA, who awarded Textrade its ‘Best South East Asian Supplier of the Year’.
Commenting on the agreement, Riley says, “This is such an exciting venture and I am delighted to be collaborating with Textrade. I am particularly pleased to extend the Rachel Riley brand into homeware and look forward to the opportunities that it will bring to the business.”
