Deng joins Start-rite from Clarks, where he held the position of senior product manager. Prior to this, he worked in merchandising and business development, playing an integral part in successfully rolling out the Clarks business model in China.
In his new role, Deng is responsible for the product management of Start-rite’s Primary and Senior product categories, working alongside the company’s other product range manager, Rachel Josling, who is responsible for the First Walking and Pre-School categories. Together, they will work with the design and resourcing team to further strengthen this area of the business.
“Start-rite is a great brand with deep British heritage,” says Deng. “I genuinely believe the brand represents massive opportunities. I'm extremely excited to be part of it and I look forward to contributing to its expansion.”
