UK Fashion & Textile Association (UKFT) is partnering with yourbrandspace.com to further support British fashion labels globally.
The industry body and virtual online showroom will work together to encourage the international growth of British designers and brands.
Their aim will be to offer them further exposure to retailers across the globe.
The move is in response to an increasing number of retailers seeking ‘made in Britain’ and British-designed product.
“UKFT and yourbrandspace.com are both determined to aid and support UK fashion businesses and create a diverse business network,” says CEO John Miln.
“Working with new and emerging labels, as well as lending support and assisting the international growth of more established companies, is a goal we both share,” he adds.
Louisa Valvano, co-director of yourbrandspace.com, says her business shares with UKFT a mutual desire to provide innovative and forward-thinking services to the fashion industry, in order to help with the growth of products made in the UK.
“It’s what our UK and overseas independent retailers want to see and will help make it quicker and easier to export British Labels,” she explains.
