UNIQLO reopens Wimbledon store
The Japanese brand opens its doors in Wimbledon, London, following a refurbishment.

Today, Japanese brand, UNIQLO
, reopens its Wimbledon store to the public, unveiling a refurbished 600 sq m. space.
Adding to the brand’s 1,700 stores worldwide, the Wimbledon branch will stock the core men’s and women’s ranges as well as kids.
After occupying the space for 16 years, the Wimbledon branch is the oldest store still open outside of Japan.
To mark the reopening, Japanese taiko drummers will perform throughout the day, goody bags will be provided to the first 100 customers to enter the store today and tomorrow and a Japanese themed tombola for shoppers will include prizes such as an ultimate tennis themed party.
Today the company has more than 1,700 stores in 17 markets worldwide including Japan, Australia, Belgium, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Russia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, U.K. and the U.S.
From a/w 17 the store will also hold the forthcoming UNIQLO x JW Anderson collection.
