Entries open for CWB Independent Retail Awards 2016
This year’s awards kick off with a new Best Baby Store category.

Today sees the launch of the CWB Independent Retail Awards 2016, which will acknowledge excellence across six award categories for UK retailers of branded children’s apparel, footwear, accessories and schoolwear. 
 
This year’s award categories, which are open to independent retailers across the UK, are: Best Kids’ Independent Store, catering for retailers who trade solely within the children’s apparel, footwear or accessories sectors; Best Online Store, for those who do not have a bricks and mortar shop and trade exclusively online in children’s apparel, footwear and accessories; Best Footwear Store, open to independents who specialise exclusively in children’s footwear; Best Schoolwear Store, catering for those in the specialist schoolwear sector; Best New Store, for retailers of children’s apparel, footwear and accessories that have opened within the past two years (since 1 July 2014); and new for 2016, the Best Baby Store category, which is open to retailers who specialise exclusively in newborn and baby essentials, including baby clothing, nursery product and maternitywear.
 
CWB Independent Retail Award winners will be selected by an impartial industry judging panel and announced in December. Winners will receive a comprehensive store marketing package and dedicated coverage in CWB, both in print and online.
